When The Furniture SQUEAKED

We have numerous non living items around us but do we ever stop and realize how they might be thinking ?......or maybe how a piece of furniture or crockery or your toys might take your actions towards it ?

The answer is NO, as the thing never expresses itself so we never actually try to consider its feelings. Today through my poem I would like you to, for once think about all those items that you must have broken or disposed off because of their poor condition and also remember the time when you felt happy while using it.

Once I was a fresh piece of leather and foam,

Wrapped up in the best of cloth,

Showcased on the front side of the shop,

Being a furniture, thinking to be sold off.

A customer came,

And took me home with pleasure,

And there I was placed, and everyone praised.

My foam at that time was new, soft and raised.

Slowly the time went on,

And children started to jump on.

My springs got out,

And my cloth got torn.

I resisted every bit of pain,

But what a Shame!

That now I lie in a heap of junk,

And no one remembers,

That once I was a soft, nice and comfortable piece of furniture....
