Lines I have Known

I believe the relationships we have with people although complicated can still be deciphered in the simplest terms by tracing them as different types of lines.

Our lives are just some set of lines,

Lines going beyond our thoughts,

Some people I know,

I don't connect with;

But at least they walk by my side,

Even though parallel,

But still there

Existing.

And some people,

Are meant to come together,

And connect, only to drift apart.

Intersecting with compassion.

The bond of alignment,

Later diverging towards

Infinity.

And sometimes,

These lines join together.

One on another,

They call it perpendicular.

And I see myself,

Merge with thy,

And together traveling

Implicitly.

Some people walk apart but are still a part of our lives. Others leave after a short while but create memories for life. And yet there are people who always stay with us, becoming a never ending part of our lives.
