Ivy

It has been a long time since my last post, though I have been active on Instagram lately, posting quotes now and then. I feel it's time to share a poem after a long break. A student's life is as busy as a bee but some interests are worth your time.

So here I'm with my poem Ivy.

Ivy is a creeper and an evergreen plant which symbolises eternity and strong affectionate attachment. Ivy represents willingness to stay in harsh times and it can grow even in adverse conditions and on concrete. Through my poem I want to express how we can be an Ivy in someone’s life and stick with them during tough times...

IVY

I don't leave,

I cling and wait,

In middle of nowhere

For you to come and stay.

You can find me by your side,

In your thick n thin.

I'll stay behind,

Even if you are gone,

So that you can come by

If you are ever lost.

I am evergreen,

I linger around

In eternity,

To mark you mine,

And be there for thee,

In your garden of stones,

I'll be your Ivy.
