The Autumn Noon

Though the winter has arrived, it's not too late to remember the lovely autumn time. When leaves cover roads and animals start stocking up their food. Now with the lines of my poem, I would like you to remember the things we did in the silent autumn noon.
The dusky sky,
Like lime in water.
No birds flutter around,
In the noon of autumn.
The road lies there without a passerby,
The silence spreads like a plague,
Not a cry of sorrow,
Not a dance of gay.
The surface seems worn-out,
With crumpled and browning leaves all around.
No breeze,
No leaves on trees,
Everyone lies on the couch,
during the autumn noon with ease.
The autumn noons are not like the winters,
Where grandma knit in the sun,
And not like the ones in summer,
Where kids eat ice creams in the scorching sun.
They are somewhat different,
Where no one works and no one chatters.
The Sun out there is with a hazy shine,
The trees out there are a barren sight,
There is nothing
In the autumn noon,
Where all are feeling lonely,
And have nothing to do.
