How reading and writing became my PASSION

Greetings to my readers. This is my first blog and I would like to share how my journey about being a reader and a writer begin. To talk about reading then everyone is not a born reader and definitely not a writer; but some people develop that hobby or interest on their own and I wasn't one of them. In terms of reading I was one of those many who for reading would pick up a thin book full of colorful pictures and big words and as we all say, 'pictures worth a thousand words' so I didn't use to read them but understand the whole story on the basis of those pictures. Now, when I look upon that time I remember the line quoted by the famous author J.K Rowling, "If you don,t like to read then you haven't found a right book" so true I find this that I am a strong believer of this entire quote. Now my choice of books has really become the one of taking the thickest book with no pictures in it. I have developed my own taste for books and have turned from a book hater to a book lover.

My parents used to urge me a lot to develop a habit of reading and their hard work was the only thing to get me in love with them. Books let our thinking spectrum to widen up, so the more we read the more imaginative and creative we become. This was the only reason because of which I finally developed my writing skills and now I write poems and as well as stories and am trying to become a blogger as well. All my writing becomes better with every new book I read. Now I look at world from a much better view and all those stories I read fit inside my every thought. For me the one who doesn't read miss the most wonderful part of their lives by not spending them between the pages of a delightful book world.
